Terms of Use — GranaBot

By accessing or using GranaBot ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GranaBot is a personal finance tracking assistant that operates within the Telegram app. It lets you log expenses, income and recurring bills, view reports and set budget alerts — all through messages sent to @granabotbr_bot.

The Service is provided by Pablo Augusto, an independent developer, reachable at pabloaugustocm@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals with the legal capacity to enter into a contract. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or have the authorisation of a legal guardian.

3. Account

Access to GranaBot is tied to your Telegram account. You are responsible for keeping your device and Telegram account secure. Do not share your access with third parties.

4. Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial starting from the moment the subscription is activated. No charge is made during this period. At the end of the trial the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan unless cancelled beforehand.

5. Pricing and Billing

The monthly plan is $4.99 USD/month (or the local equivalent shown on the checkout page).
Billing is handled monthly by Stripe via credit or debit card.
You will receive an email notification before the first charge.
Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, linked in your subscription confirmation email. Cancellation takes effect immediately with no additional steps. After cancelling, access remains active until the end of the paid billing period.

7. Refunds

If you cancel within 7 days of first subscribing to a paid plan and have not previously used a trial, you may request a full refund by emailing pabloaugustocm@gmail.com.

Refunds after this period are not guaranteed, except in cases of verified technical failure attributable to the Service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for:

Illegal activities or violations of third-party rights;
Attempts to gain unauthorised access to the Service's infrastructure;
Reverse engineering, copying or redistributing the Service.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

9. Service Availability

GranaBot is provided "as is". We work to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated when possible. The Service depends on Telegram and Stripe, which are outside our control.

10. Intellectual Property

All code, design, text and functionality of GranaBot are the property of the developer. The Service may not be copied, modified or redistributed without express written permission.

Financial data entered by the user belongs exclusively to the user.

11. Limitation of Liability

GranaBot is a personal organisation tool and does not constitute financial, accounting or legal advice. Financial decisions made based on data from the Service are the sole responsibility of the user.

Except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 3 months of your subscription.

12. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the user's place of domicile, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
